where this comes from
- insider trades — SEC Form 4, filed within two business days of the trade. pulled from the EDGAR daily index. edgar full-text search
- congressional trades — periodic transaction reports required by the STOCK Act. house clerk and senate efd
- what counts as a buy — only transaction code P, an open-market purchase with the insider's own money. option exercises, grants and gifts are filtered out because they are compensation, not conviction.
- refresh — a scheduled job re-pulls every monday morning and rewrites this page. if the timestamp above is stale, the job failed and the numbers are old.
this page reports public regulatory filings and nothing else. it is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not a suggestion that you copy anyone's trade. an insider buying their own stock is a data point with a mixed track record, not a signal. filings contain errors, amendments and late reports. i am not a licensed financial adviser. for decisions about your own money, talk to one.
